As President of Nationwide National Partners, I have the unique opportunity to help our distribution partners across the country build protection solutions for our mutual clients. I recommend strategies that insure individual, business and future income risks utilizing Nationwide’s diverse suite of products.

During my professional career, I’ve had the pleasure of leading the Profit/Loss for a variety of distinct business units. In addition to my former role as president for Nationwide Agribusiness, I’ve held leadership positions for regional operations headquartered in Michigan, Texas, New York and Iowa. My current role resides at Nationwide’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to my insurance career, I started in banking becoming a branch leader in the city of Detroit.

During these career assignments, I’ve supported those communities I’ve lived in through various volunteer efforts. I currently serve on the Board of Trustees for the National Urban League. My past volunteer work includes Boys & Girls Club of Central Iowa, American Heart Association and New York State Association for Affordable Housing. I also served as Nationwide’s United Way campaign chair in 2011.

My passion revolves around youth and education. Although I don’t currently sit on any boards related directly to youth education, I’m a supporter of organizations like City Year Columbus, Boys and Girls Club of Columbus and various scholarship funds. I’m open to board opportunities where my skills and passion can support an organization committed to supporting these causes. Youth education also includes youth sports. I’m a former AAU basketball coach where our teams have competed both nationally and internationally.

Because of my experiences, I would describe my leadership style as “Coaching”. I enjoy building the strategy to win, assembling the right partners for the team and then coaching the team to execute; creating a win-win for key stakeholders.
