Nettitude join the 2020-2022 Global Executive Assessor Roundtable (GEAR)

Nettitude have been selected to join the 2020-2022 Global Executive Assessor Roundtable (GEAR). The PCI SSC Global Executive Assessor Roundtable is an Executive Committee level advisory board comprised of senior executives from PCI SSC assessor companies and serves as a direct channel for communication between senior leadership of Payment Security Assessors and PCI SSC senior leadership.

Nettitude is one of 28 organisations to join the PCI Security Standards Council’s Global Executive Assessor Roundtable in its efforts to secure payment data globally. As strategic partners, Roundtable members bring industry, geographical and technical insight to PCI SSC plans and projects on behalf of the assessor community.

PCI SSC Executive Director Lance J. Johnson Quotes:

“The Global Executive Assessor Roundtable provides industry expertise and perspectives that influence and shape the development of PCI Security Standards and programs. We look forward to working with Nettitude in our efforts to help organisations secure payment data globally.

PCI SSC SVP Operating Officer Mauro Lance Quotes:

“We need voices from across the assessor community to help ensure we are providing the best standards and programs to support the industry in protecting against today’s modern cybercriminal. We’re pleased to have Nettitude on the PCI SSC Global Executive Roundtable to provide critical insights and help us build on the great efforts that are already being done to increase payment security globally.”

Nettitude’s appointment to the board builds on our longer-term involvement with the payment industry, including presenting at and attending PCI SSC and other community events, participating in PCI SSC special interest groups, and contributing feedback to requests for comments on new version of the standard.

Head of Information Security Stuart Wright Quotes:

“Joining the GEAR gives Nettitude a voice at a senior level, and an opportunity to contribute to the payment security community, providing the benefit of our experiences as a QSA company. We aim to bring our strong expertise and experience to the table, and help the PCI SSC continue to develop, evolve, and promote the PCI DSS and improve payment security at a global level.”
